Click

This article made me wonder that if my one of my small little ideas could make it to be something as big as MySpace or Facebook. It does not make me want to create my own site but it makes me think that any little idea could become big. I think that it’s amazing that Facebook started with just 10 people. We all have 10 or 12 times that number. It makes me wonder what the next big thing will be. Also it makes me wonder when MySpace, Facebook or Google trend will end and start something new.

E-Waste

I think that the e-waste is a horrible thing. I don’t think that any country should look like this:

It’s very hard to look at and to see. But on the other hand where else would we put all this waste. We pay people to take our trash off of our hands. So what they do with our trash is their problem. If they leave it in the river like the picture above then that’s their choice. We do what we have to, to keep this from happening in the U.S. What other countries do with it is their responsibility.

· China is known as the world’s electronics graveyard.
· The computers that they burn is full of carcinogens and other toxins.

Digitizing Books

I think putting whole books online is stupid! If you are going to pay for a book you might as well just go buy the actual book. I believe that Google is just trying to make money. Like the video said Google is creating a monopoly, all they want is money. Hypothetically speaking if I wrote a book, I would want people to buy my book at the bookstore, and not off the computer. Google is taking away money from the author. It’s not right! Books are to be left in the library and printed on paper. It should not be read off of the internet! I agree with everything that the article posted below.

The World Wide Web

I think it is amazing that someone has the drive to create a computer program like the world wide web. He must have spent all of his life perfecting it. Without the world wide web, I wouldn’t survive! I’m always on the internet whether it’s for homework or I’m on myspace or facebook. The concept of the world wide web is incredible. Without it we wouldn’t have the technology we have today. My life revolves around the internet and all of its technology! I wish I could create a program like the world wide web and become famous and make a lot of money! :)

For Starters

My name is Christina . I was born on April 14, 1993. I live with my mother and sister in a huge two story house. My dad isn’t in the picture; he walked out on my family when I was barely one year old. My mother is White and my dad is Hispanic, which makes me half and half. I have two dogs, Lexi and Haley. Haley is a pure breed golden retriever and Lexi is a pure breed Goldendoodle (mix between golden retriever and a poodle). I listen to pretty much every kind of music except techno and rock. My dream is to go to Harvard Law School and become a Lawyer. My family isn’t like your average family. My mom goes to work at 3 A.M. and gets home at around 12 P.M. so I don’t usually see her. My sister, Rebecca, is a year and five days older than me. My sister has band in the morning and loads of homework after school so I also don’t usually talk to her. Me and my sister are very independent and depend little on our mom. We drive ourselves where ever we need to be.
In my free time I like to hang out with my friends or play softball. Once you get to know me, you'll notice that I always have my ipod and phone with me. They never leave my sight. I'm always texting! I would like to say I am a good person and have a good personality. I am a very caring person. I want to improve my attitude on the softball field because it tends to get me into trouble. I am always picking a fight, just to win. I get very frustrated very easily but end up laughing about the entire situation. I am laughing all the time and love to make people laugh. I’m a pretty chill person.
